Switchable film
Switchable film (also called smart film, PDLC film) is a high-tech product that can switch between transparent and opaque states using electricity. It's widely used for privacy glass, partitions, boardrooms, healthcare, and smart homes.
Switchable film is a laminated or retrofittable film, laminated between two panes of glass or applied to the glass surfaces. It uses Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology that changes appearance when powered:

- Inside the film are liquid crystal molecules suspended in a polymer matrix.

- When power is off, molecules scatter light, making the glass frosted/opaque.
